In my 30 years in the HVAC (heating, ventilation , air conditioning) business, it has become obvious that most homeowners do not think of their home comfort system (furnace, air conditioner, humidifier, air cleaner, air exchanger, etc)  except when it stops working. My hope with this BLOG is to offer tips to keep your system running longer, more efficiently and with less breakdowns.

There are certain things you can easily do to maintain your system such as routinely changing your filter (and being sure it is installed correctly) , start up and shut down of your system each season and correct thermostat settings.

I will be happy to answer any question you may have , remember there is no such thing as a stupid question. So please use my 30 years experience to your benefit.
