Dave Bachert

Dave has spent the past eight years in all aspects of the residential heating, ventilation and air conditioning field. While earning a technical degree from T.C.S.C.A. in Southwest Florida, Dave serviced and installed hundreds of air conditioning systems in both new and existing homes. After growing weary of working in 100 + degree attics, Dave moved to the Twin Cities in 2005. He has been working with Burnsville Heating as a service and installations specialist until just recently when the opportunity to become a Comfort Advisor arose. Dave enjoys helping people choose the best possible comfort system for their needs.

Over the past 25 years I have assisted thousands of homeowners in making their homes more comfortable. I enjoy meeting people, listening to their needs and wants, and hopefully earning their respect and friendship.

I am most satisfied when I meet a homeowner who is having major comfort issues and I can use my expertise to solve their problems. I usually start by doing a detailed heat loss/heat gain calculation of the home so that I can properly size their new equipment. I check existing duct work and calculate the air-flow it is designed to handle and match it up accordingly with the new equipment or suggest duct work modifications.

We also offer indoor air quality testing for those people who have health issues such as allergies and asthma. I have taken many indoor air quality classes and find it gratifying when I can help someone with their health issues. The air quality test results show an array of data I can use in recommending the right products to remedy the particular situation.
